Reiki is a spiritual healing art rooted in Japan and now practiced throughout the world. Reiki is the healing life energy that flows abundantly through the ether, and everyone has the ability to tap into this energy through intention. As a client, you lie down on a massage bed, fully clothed, and through the placement of hands on specific body areas, the intelligent life force heals the body’s imbalances. I believe this energy is a gift from our creator.

Below is my personal Reiki story of how I became interested in Reiki and why I pursue this amazing healing modality.

One random day in July 2024, I woke up and asked my wife, “What is Reiki?” She mentioned some esoteric concepts, pretty much echoing my own understanding. Seemingly out of nowhere, I had this burning desire to know more about Reiki. Throughout that day, I couldn’t shake the thought and the feeling I had awoken with.

So that evening I Googled it, and I could feel myself being drawn into Reiki right then and there because the descriptions about it spoke to me. You ever get that feeling that something is made for you? I was hungry for more knowledge. After hours of research, I signed up for a full Reiki online diploma course.

A few months later, I had an old tooth abscess rear up, and I was in absolute agony. Then it occurred to me, why not try Reiki? So I did, and in about 17 minutes the pain went away. I mean gone. Completely gone. The entire problem has since reversed itself.

Another time, I developed a pain in my left heel where I could not put any pressure on it. I just woke up that day with the intense aggravation, so I Reikied that too, and voila! Pain gone. I vowed to the Universe that I would pursue Reiki further and properly. I took a professional in-person Reiki course to get a recognized international level 1 certification.

There the journey began, and I now welcome you into my Reiki practice.
